Nursing Informatics results from integrating the triad of computer, information and nursing sciences. It has been evolved to assist in the management and processing of nursing of nursing data, information and knowledge which is to support nursing practice, education and even research. It can also be applied to model the human processing data, information, and knowledge within a computer system in order to automate the processing of nursing data such as health care data to information and the transformation of nursing information to nursing knowledge.
Health and science information science is one of the studies that health care data is stored acquired and manage, which is to support the nursing practice, education, research, and administration. This is very useful for nurses in decision-making at the strategic planning levels of health care. This health care data and information can be effectively managed and communicated using computer systems and telecommunications which is catalyzed the emergence of science of nursing informatics. And as the year goes by, “high tech and high touch” is becoming a way of life in the practice of nursing. And this can only become common reality if nurses are comfortable working with computers and advanced technology.

Computers really are contributing to the world. They have a big role in the Nursing profession. We should be comfortable using them. Oh Yes! Healthcare data can be managed by the use of computers.
